EMILY DE SANTIS
clinical psychologist
trauma informed therapist
edmr and schema therapist

Emily is a Clinical Psychologist who works with children, adolescents, and adults across a range of presentations, including anxiety, depression, stress, obsessive compulsive disorder, interpersonal difficulties, personality-related challenges, grief and loss, and neurodiversity.

She is passionate about supporting individuals to better understand themselves, reconnect with their strengths, and move toward meaningful and values-aligned change. Emily takes a client-centred, evidence-based approach, tailoring therapy to each person's unique needs, experiences, and goals.

Emily's work is grounded in a trauma-informed and schema-informed framework, supporting clients to explore how past experiences may be shaping current patterns and to develop new ways of relating to themselves and others. Alongside traditional evidence-based therapies, she has completed training in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and thoughtfully integrates EMDR into therapy where appropriate. She also draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and Motivational Interviewing to provide individualised care.

Her style is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. Emily places strong importance on building a safe and non-judgemental space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. She encourages curiosity and self-reflection while providing practical strategies that foster resilience, deeper insight, and meaningful, lasting change.
