Tara is a Senior Psychologist with over 14 years of experience working across a range of clinical settings, supporting adults with their mental health and wellbeing.

She is passionate about helping individuals move toward a more values-driven and meaningful life, and takes a personalised, evidence-based approach to therapy that is tailored to each person’s unique needs and experiences.

Tara works primarily with adults experiencing eating disorders, body image concerns, trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, and relationship difficulties. She recognises that each person’s journey is different, and is committed to providing thoughtful, individualised support to help clients build insight, resilience, and lasting change.

Her experience includes working within Australia’s largest youth mental health service, headspace, where she supported adolescents and young adults. This background continues to inform her work, particularly in understanding early experiences and developmental influences that shape current patterns.

Tara’s therapeutic approach integrates a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness. She has also undertaken further training in Schema Therapy and continues to deepen this work within her practice, supporting clients to explore and shift long-standing patterns at a deeper level.

Tara is known for her warm, empathetic, and collaborative style. She creates a safe and non-judgemental space where individuals feel heard, understood, and supported, fostering a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust and respect.
