SARA GRIFFIN
provisional psychologist
Sara is a Provisionally Registered Psychologist currently completing her Master of Professional Psychology. She has a strong interest in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, adjustment difficulties, grief, and everyday life challenges.
She is particularly passionate about helping clients better understand themselves, develop practical coping strategies, and build a stronger connection to their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
Sara takes a warm, calm, and client-centred approach to therapy. She understands that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and aims to create a space where clients feel safe, heard, and genuinely supported throughout the therapeutic process. Her thoughtful and gentle nature helps clients feel at ease, allowing therapy to move at a pace that feels comfortable and manageable.
Drawing on evidence-based approaches from her clinical training, Sara integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based strategies into her work. She works collaboratively with clients to build insight, strengthen emotional awareness, and develop practical tools that support meaningful and sustainable change over time.
Sara values the importance of building a strong therapeutic relationship and believes that even small shifts in understanding, self-compassion, and coping can create lasting impact in everyday life.

Therapy can feel scary but that's often where meaningful change begins. It's a space where we can slow things down, make sense of what's happening and move at a pace that feels safe for you.
