Mandy is a Psychologist with several years of experience providing psychological assessment and evidence-based therapy across the lifespan. She has worked across a range of settings including private practice, rehabilitation, and with children in out-of-home care, and continues to expand her skills through ongoing training across a variety of psychological approaches.
Mandy provides a warm, relaxed, and welcoming space, grounded in a client-centred and collaborative approach. She places strong importance on the therapeutic relationship, creating an environment where you feel supported to explore your experiences, reflect on your strengths and needs, and work toward meaningful change.
She works with a range of presentations including anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, personality-related challenges, relationship difficulties, and life stressors. Mandy has a particular interest in trauma and complex trauma, including PTSD and eating disorders, and has significant experience supporting neurodiverse clients, including ADHD.
Mandy offers individual, couples, and family therapy, supporting both personal growth and relational understanding. Her work with couples and families focuses on strengthening communication, deepening connection, and creating more adaptive ways of relating.
Her therapeutic approach integrates a range of evidence-based modalities including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). She also incorporates elements of Schema Therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to support deeper, long-term change.
