Mandy is a Psychologist who has several years of experience providing cognitive, psychological, and behavioural assessments across the life-span, as well as evidence-based treatments. She has worked in a range of areas including private practice, rehabilitation, and with children in out of home care. Mandy continues to enhance her skills and knowledge through ongoing training across a variety of psychological specialities.
Mandy provides a friendly, relaxed, and welcoming space with a client-centred approach that enables you to feel supported in your journey. Mandy believes the therapeutic relationship is the key to positive psychological outcomes and will work collaboratively with you reflect on your strengths, goals and emotional needs and with compassion she supports you to develop the confidence to improve the areas of your life that you seek to change.
Mandy is experienced working with presentations such as anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, personality disorders, relationship breakdowns, and has a special interest in PTSD, Complex Trauma and Eating Disorders. She has significant experience in assessment and support ADHD and neurodiverse clients (adult and adolescent). She provides individual, couples and family therapy sessions to ensure you or your child’s needs are met.
Mandy utilises several therapies and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprogramming (EMDR), Trauma-focused Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). She also incorporates aspects of Schema Therapy and Internal Systems Family Therapy (IFS). Mandy has a passion for helping people to become masters of their own positive mental health change.
